Select speed trap in web interface if you want to get MPH.

Trackmate designed Infrared beams fore easy setup and accuracy

System has better than .001 accuracy, unlike other systems we use constant carrier IR for precsion timing.

The tree is 48 inches high and is AC powered. You will need to make a base for it, base is not included.

You will also need a Laptop running windows to run the system.

Trackmate sometimes has laptops available with software installed ready to go. Contact Trackmate for that.

scale 60 foot, for RC this will be sensors 6 feet after the starting line. This is useful to see if you are getting good traction off the line.

Start Line sensors and RC cars

There is a mode in the software specificaly for RC cars and it works like this...

When the car blocks the 1st sensor both the Prestage (top bulbs) and stage bulbs will come on. Car is now staged and ready for the tree to come down. If car moves too far forward the red light will come on, so the driver should backup.

Software also supports the real mode. where when the front wheel blocks the first sensor Prestage lights come on, then driver goes a little further and Stage lights come on, racer is now ready to go.

The problem is this method does not work on RC cars as the front wheels are very small and the chassis is close to the ground.
